Each week they bring in different speakers, which is so awesome to be able to hear from such a variety of pastors and missionaries. This is actually a quite practical hobby because I use these pyrex dishes as servingware and as prep bowls when I'm cooking. The nice thing about pyrex is they are very durable dishes. It's also made thrift shopping fun when you're looking for these pyrex treasures. Here's my collection so far:. It' like a mini casserole dish.

I just got a white pitcher from Target and some fake flowers from Hobby Lobby! Spray painted a mason jar metallic and added some hydrangeas. A couple weeks ago I was out for my morning run on Sunday and as I was running by a house nearby there was an old bench on the side of the road waiting to be trashed. I got an idea! Maybe I could salvage it up and fix it up? So when I got home I dragged Rollin with me to carry it back. The bench was extremely wobbly and Rollin thought it was a lost cause. I still had hope! Painting with my dad!

I found this awesome hutch for a great deal and so my parents got it for me for my birthday! I knew I would want to paint it a different color. Since my parents have a garage and I don't, I knew I had to paint it before we would leave for Texas. I debated on off white or blue and eventually went with blue. I've realized my favorite craft project is to find a cool old fashioned looking lamp at a thrift store and give it a makeover. My parents brought me a desk, so I knew I would want to get a little lamp for it. While thrift shopping I found the perfect little lamp base.and I found another cool one. So I did TWO lamp makeovers! It was pretty cool looking before. I almost didn't spray paint it.
