oh my stars!: February 2011
http://thfb.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 07, 2011. We were still stuck at home on Friday with more snow, so we made the best of it. The girls ate snow for breakfast (not really, but they pretended that's all that had for breakfast). I scooped each of them a cup full of snow and gave them a spoon and they ate snow to their hearts' content! Then, we went outside to play! After we played, the girls came inside to make "inside snowmen". They frosted big marshmallows and then ate them. So fun! Friday, February 04, 2011. I could at l...

oh my stars!: October 2010
http://thfb.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Grandma Hill bought the girls some cute sticker crafts and window decorations so that they could get the house ready for Halloween. Emily is very excited about this holiday. I'm sure it has something to do with all the candy she'll be getting. (I'm excited because of all the candy she'll be getting! Here is Avery putting the window decorations up. Me, pointing.to.the.tree) Then she kissed the leaf. Sweet, silly girl! They worked well together! I love the googly eyes! Mom's Po...

Tuesday, March 27, 2012. I just haven't blogged lately. I'm in a funk. I hope I can get out of it. Here are a couple of photos I've taken of SPRING! This first one I took the other night of the moon and a couple of bright planets. It was so cool! This is something I love to see. But they go away so quickly! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). oh my stars!: December 2011
http://thfb.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 05, 2011. Some things I've made. I haven't been able to share things I've been making because they were a secret. I was busy working on presents for my mom and dad's birthdays. I made this sign for my dad's office. This was my original idea. Pinterest had no influence on this craft! It has signs for any mood the doctor might be in:. And this fall banner was another idea from Pinterest. I had fun making it. Look at me craftin'! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Follow my photography on Facebook!

oh my stars!: Our New Journey: Homeschool
http://thfb.blogspot.com/2013/02/our-new-journey-homeschool.html
Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Our New Journey: Homeschool. Emily has had nearly twenty sick days this year. Mostly because of diabetes-related issues, some because of sicknesses that affected her diabetes, and some were just plain 'ol sicknesses. Emily is drawing one of her Skylander creatures. Here are all the books we have for her learnin'. Emily was given a subject to write about and illustrate. I used a page protector so we can reuse the book when Avery is ready! So there it is. We're homeschooling...

oh my stars!: Making Things
http://thfb.blogspot.com/2012/01/making-things.html
Thursday, January 05, 2012. I'm still trying to be crafty. It is a struggle! But it makes me happy to have made something. I made these advent calendars for the girls. I've been wanting to do this since Emily was a baby, but I felt she wasn't ready to eat just one piece of candy each day. I wasn't sure if Avery was ready either, but she did great! See that little stocking on the right of the fireplace? That's my childhood stocking! No, that's yours, this one's mine! Anyway, these things got TANGLED!

oh my stars!: January 2012
http://thfb.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 16, 2012. As each new year begins, I mentally make plans of what I'd like to accomplish in the new year. It's a fresh start, a new beginning, a virtual clean slate just waiting to be filled with great things. And it seems that each time a new year rolls along, the things I had planned never come to light. Broken resolutions." That's what they're called. Sort of like broken promises to yourself. Nothing like breaking promises to yourself to make you feel like a chump. In fact, she went sev...

oh my stars!: New Year's Eve Sunshine!
http://thfb.blogspot.com/2012/01/new-years-eve-sunshine.html
Wednesday, January 04, 2012. New Year's Eve Sunshine! The girls have been getting cabin fever. I don't blame them since it's hard for me to get out of the house and with the weather being so pretty (sunshiny and above 55°). Emily rode her scooter. Avery balanced on the curb (in her Native American pants, lol). I love my girls! I love them too! 11:14 AM, January 04, 2012. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow my photography on Facebook! oh my stars!: October 2011
http://thfb.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 28, 2011. I saw the idea for this frame on Pinterest and I've been wanting to try it for a week or so. I still have string left over from the previous project and I had the frame in my closet. I was going to put scrapbook paper in the background, but I didn't have any that would work. I came across a sheet of black construction paper and I sprinkled it with water and rubbed soot from the fireplace on it. I like how it turned out! Wednesday, October 19, 2011. And I love how it turned out.

oh my stars!: February 2013
http://thfb.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 27, 2013. So the first week of homeschooling has been challenging. For me. I still don't really have a curriculum and I feel as though Emily is suffering because I don't really know what I'm doing. Emily gets bored very easily and loses interest rather quickly, so I have to be on my toes, which I'm not. I'm frustrated, but I know with time I'll get things going better for her. She's getting really good at counting coins. Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Our New Journey: Homeschool. Since w...
