So here is some Advent calendar inspiration for all of you, who still haven’t gotten all the necessary 24 little parcels. Or for all of you who urgently need an alternative for the contaminated chocolate Adventcalendars. The second Advent calendar I made for my goddaughter, who is 3.5 years old. She is really into drawing and colouring. And she is obviously becoming a real girl now. At least 2012 :-).

Fireworks all around us. What else can you want? Well, maybe pink decorations. I will tell you a bit more about my frenetic decoration craze on December 30. Sunday, January 6, 2013. Quick and Easy NYE Decorations. I promised you a more detailed report of my freneticdecoration craze. So here it comes ;-). It suddenly began to dawn on me that the next day was NYE. and we were having a party. At our place. and I had prepared absolutely nothing in terms of decorations. No problem one might say, but I love party decorations. I made a few lucky bags out of pink paper and silver stickers. And filled them with little lucky symbols which I found around the house.

Saturday, August 6, 2011. Venezia per i locali – My first homemade Spaghetti Vongole. Part of living like local Venetians obviously means cooking your own food. And that is really easy if you go to Rialto fish market in the morning, buy the freshes vongole you can get (just 9 EUR for a huge bag of vongole which are enough for 6 people), grab Jamie’s recipe for spaghetti vongole. Thursday, January 5, 2012. In 2012 I am looking forward to. 2 weddings of my nearest and dearest. First of all the big wedding of my best friend, who celebrated her Standesamt wedding last year in Bavarian tradition. The big party will be in the Bavarian countryside, but I think it terms of style it will be quite different. More traditional bridal. Which means I can wear a new dress ;-) I am her maid of honour so there will be a lot of wedding planning, crafting and sewing, I promise. Yippee! I know life...
