Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Help from a MilWife. 160;Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Cat, of The Cat's Pajamas. 160;I am by no means an expert, but I've mailed hundreds (yes, really) of packages to The Husband and our squadron while on deployments. And use real butter if you can afford it. Canned foods (no PORK...

Operation Baking GALS: Team 10th Mountain
http://operationbakinggals.blogspot.com/2008/09/team-10th-mountain.html
Monday, September 15, 2008. Apples Peaches Pumpkin Pie. A few months ago, I had been talking with online friends about troops overseas, and wouldn't we love to be able to find a soldier and send him/her a goodie box, just as a show of support and thanks. Just a little morale boost and a taste of home. But we weren't sure how we would find the soldiers, not knowing any personally. Just. Later, I saw a post on the Daring Bakers website from Susan. Is that fate, or what? So, could YOU help me bake this time.

Operation Baking GALS: Lots of Happenings...
http://operationbakinggals.blogspot.com/2008/10/lots-of-happenings.html
Tuesday, October 7, 2008. All kinds of things going on! We are just wrapping up Round Three - a very successful round I must say! We had the 10 posted teams you saw here on the site, plus 2 overflow teams that I hosted for "late bakers" and even a private team from Myrtle Beach! What great idea by Chris from Legends In Concert. Of Myrtle Beach - she organized her staff, got a soldier related to the group and then baked and they shipped 25 packages to their troop! Please take the time to visit their blog.
