THE JOSHUA VALLEY RAILROAD. Hopefully, the railroad will include at least one steam powered locomotive before too long. However, since the cost of a 1 scale GS4 is outside this modelers range of expense and won't run on an 11' radius curve I'll have to settle for something considerably smaller. Small Scale Model Railroads. My Z scale layout consists of a 2 by 3 ft vacuum formed base with a double folde dogbone loop and a second loop around the first. More details later. My HO is limited to a 3ft by 6ft carnival module used at the club layout. I have managed to duplicate the American Flyer set I received for Christmas in 1958. It is an undocumented set purchased from a department store in Chicago or East Chicago some time in Oct/Nov/Dec 58. My favorite Live Steam places.

My G scale or Garden Railroad is limited to holiday running. Normally around the middle of October I start putting down the track in the front yard. I used to put down about 600 feet of track but starting this year I will have to cut that to approximately 250 feet because the right of way was confiscated by the 1 inch scale ride on railroad.
