Join Mary Siever on her evolutionary journey to her new self. Thursday, July 29, 2004. Click the underlined text. I know there are people who ask why God allows some folks to suffer so severely. To be born with these challenges that seem insurmountable. But I think the reason is clear. They show us the power of the spirit and how blessed we are. It also shows me anyway, how honoured I am to share the same world with these individuals. Posted by Mary Siever @ 12:13 PM. Saturday, July 24, 2004. Ok, for Fri...

Join Mary Siever on her evolutionary journey to her new self. Sunday, November 07, 2004. At the end of my 3rd round of the 12 week program. And yet it is not over, because this is a life long journey. Besides that I still want to get down another size or two. But either way I am happy with what I have done. Anyone interested in a breakdown? Wouldn't that be nice? It is such a blessing to know this is in my hands.) and I am in better shape. Much much better shape. Posted by Mary Siever @ 9:15 PM. And like I said I lowered my goal another 8 lbs so I have 36 lbs left to lose. Actually I may actually be between 13 and 13.5 lbs lost because the scale was fluctuating. But we will say 13 lbs for argument's sake. I need a new picture of me on my profile! Posted by Mary Siever @ 12:23 PM. Monday, August 16, 2004.

Join Mary Siever on her evolutionary journey to her new self. Wednesday, October 27, 2004. This picture was taken about 2 weeks ago, around the same time I did my stats. I have lost a few more pounds since then, but not a whole lot to make a difference. My face has thinned out even more since we had our family picture taken (it's on our family website) which is kind of cool, I have facial definition! The bottom picture of course is the one taken in August. 16 July 2004 - 75 pounds lighter than January.

Anyway, today is a beautiful day, it is supposed to be warm and sunny and tomorrow we might get thunderstorms! I won't hold my breath though, they promised that last week too. My 6 year old lost her first tooth yesterday. This was an exciting event for her. She sure is getting big. I am part of a new blog, and I hope to contribute something of worth periodically! Lol, ...

Don't be fooled by the title of this blog. I don't discuss herbs very much here. This blog is general-purpose, although I do like ranting about politics and religion. Saturday, January 29, 2005. Are a fundamental part of the bush-administration's project in Iraq, the project that started fifteen years ago by old bush, and is under going by little bush. Posted by Mike @ 1:33 AM.

Join Mary Siever on her evolutionary journey to her new self. Wednesday, June 30, 2004. What this is really all about. I was reflecting on my "odyssey" as Kim terms it and thinking about the whole issue of losing weight and getting healthy and realised that it really isn't about weightloss. That is a definite bonus, and certainly it is the "outward" proof and sign of what I am doing. But this whole journey is truly about something else. Most days it is half full. I absolutely loved it! A few icy spots on the trails, but not very icy, and easy to navigate even in the dark.

The Inner Dad: Mantle of the Prophet - Amended

Essays by, for, and about Dads. Despite what you may have heard, it's OK to be a Dad. Really. Sunday, April 06, 2008. Mantle of the Prophet - Amended. This is more by way of a journal entry. I need to keep this one in mind over time to remind myself that miraculous things can and do still happen in these cynical days of earth's history. Doubtless many others will write about this experience, probably more eloquently that I possibly could. This, then, is for my family and posterity. Mrs Woody and I both f...
