Our vocational training program includes a. Teaching gardening skills and work behaviors. The Garden Club meets in our organic garden on the San Francisco peninsula. Gardening provides opportunities to build expertise while accomplishing challenging, practical, and goal-oriented tasks. There's nothing more satisfying than eating a salad from vegetables you've grown from seed! Selling seeds at the Santa Clara County Master Gardeners Spring Market, April, 2010. Farms and Ranches Enabling people with Disabilities, March 1, 2013, Manhattan Beach, CA. The Second Annual Special Place Race will be held on Sept.9, 2012. We had rave reviews about how much fun racers had last year. The Race is an exciting, high energy urban adventure in downtown Palo Alto, on the San Francisco Peninsula! At the conference, we address our major concern: the crisis in housing for adults with disabilities. A huge THANK YOU to Ted Munat and the master mixologists of San Francisco!
