We use the ASC models, either 12 or 24vdc. Typically the 16A unit. We use 1 - 140W solar panel per solar regulator on a 12vdc system for a max of 12Amps. Special note - You must mount the temperature compensation probe in the battery box to properly charge the batteries. Control Wave Micro RTU's. This is the most common RTU that we use, it is not considered a fail safe device although the latest versions have a watchdog timer relay in which you can add the contacts in to your hardwired ESD circuit.
