http://zealandawe.blogspot.com/2012/06/ghosts.html
In Zeal and Awe! This blog provides evidence of the humor and goodness that can be found in everyday life. Thursday, June 21, 2012. People Who Aren't in a Hurry. Yesterday morning was hectic. I had to get Taylor up before she was ready to wake up. Getting her dressed wasn't a problem, but her hair was unruly. I have started a new tactic for that: I give her the hairbrush and the flat iron and leave her alone for a while. She does a pretty good job. How long will it take? AND you can put them on a CD?

In Zeal and Awe!: Nap Shame
http://zealandawe.blogspot.com/2012/06/nap-shame.html
In Zeal and Awe! This blog provides evidence of the humor and goodness that can be found in everyday life. Thursday, June 21, 2012. When my daughter was four, I was awakened from a nap on the couch at 11:00 AM. (Don't judge me; I had been awake since 6:00! It was my mother-in-law. I jumped up, cleared my throat, and answered the phone with a "life-is-good-and-I'm-wide-awake" voice. She asked, "Do you know where Taylor is? Oh, she's around here somewhere. Do you want to talk to her? Naps are a necessary p...

http://witandwhistle.com/2011/12/14/diy-chalkboard-mug

This is a much easier version of the hand painted mug project. No drawing or painting skills required! A porcelain mug (mine is from CB2). Pebeo Porcelaine 150 Chalkboard Paint (available at Dick Blick. Don’t use regular chalkboard paint. This only works with porcelain paint.). 1 Make sure your mug is clean and dry.

In Zeal and Awe!: A Childhood Memory
http://zealandawe.blogspot.com/2012/06/childhood-memory.html
In Zeal and Awe! This blog provides evidence of the humor and goodness that can be found in everyday life. Friday, June 22, 2012. When I think about my childhood, I remember the kids my mom babysat. She kept children at our house during the years before I started school. This group of young people consisted of four girls and one (probably miserable) boy. Are probably worth a lot of money now. And I was probably bossing everyone around when it happened. Mom herded us kids into the kitchen, where I wat...

DIY: Pixel Painting | Wit & Whistle
http://witandwhistle.com/2011/10/05/diy-pixel-painting
The other day while editing some of my Iceland photos. Square tip watercolor paintbrush. This is where you need your math skills. Once you’ve finalized your image, use a ruler and pencil to lightly draw a grid on your paper. The grid should have as many boxes as there are pixels in your photograph, but it still needs to fit on your piece of paper. My grid ended up being made up of .75″ squares. After a few hours of painting squares your eyes might start to cross, but don’t stop! What do you think? I thin...
