Saturday, February 18, 2006. We had arranged to meet at 10:00 am at the charter office to gain access to our sailboat. We arose a bit early, and spent a half hour re-packing our gear to reduce the amount of stuff we would need to bring onboard. Friday, March 10, 2006. It's Thursday now, the fridge is re-stocked, the alarms seem to be working as expected, and we've had a couple of days to settle in. Friday, February 10, 2006. It's A Long Way To Pukehina . Friday was our first transit day. We were off to our cottage rental (or "Bach" as they call them here) in Pukehina beach.
