Sites, sounds and smells of a grease junkie. Just got home from a Work-cation. 1) I love the Rem Si-Fiddy. Say all you want about that being too much travel for the Midwest. All I know is there is a ton of stuff I can ride now that I didn't before. On top of all that, it climbs. Well. 2) The Farm aka Jim's Farm aka The Trek Trails are a blast. Glad I got to ride them as much as I did AAAAAAND with a night ride! 5) Bird's Ruins Disc Golf Course in Marshall, WI is a thoroughly enjoyable course.

Sites, sounds and smells of a grease junkie. There are not many places I feel normal. Most of the time I feel odd. Left out. Not part of the crowd, even if I am IN a crowd. But on the bike I feel normal. Usually I'm not in a crowd, it is usually alone. I (try to) clear my mind of thoughts. Easier to do when I'm riding off road. Just focus on the breathing. Just focus on the spinning. Where should I position my body? Find the flow. The rhythm. Move those legs old man. Push a little harder Grandpa.

Some people have asked for more pictures of the Vaya, I know the pictures are not the best quality, they were taken from my phone and I don't have the best light in the garage. Complete bike: Road triple cranks, 34t cassette, Bar end shifters, BB7 brakes. Rear brake has direct mount disc brake post and is designed for a full housing from the lever. Rack and fender mounts in the rear. Rear triangle can fit up to a 1.9" tire. Fork also has direct mount disc brake posts.

Sunday, May 9, 2010. Day two we went to the Fishermans Terminal to checked out all the boats, then to Ballard neighborhood for lunch at Mike's Chili Parlor for a killer chili cheese burger. After lunch we spent the rest of the afternoon walking around town checking out the cool boutiques and flower shops, bars and coffee joints. Day three was spent around Josh's place in Magnolia doing house work and cooking dinner. There you have it, a quick update on what I have been up to. May 29, 2010 at 9:23 AM.

Monday, June 15, 2009. The long way home. About 30 minuets out of Lake Crystal it started to sprinkle, another 30 minutes passed and the sprinkles turned into rain and the temps dropped . For the next hour or so we rode in the rain until we got to Madelia where we stopped for an hour or more to drink some coffee, warm up and try to dry off.
