It is a non-descript town so I did not get any photos of the town. We did get gas while there. We ate lunch in the "Elightened Bean" cafe on main street. Guess what kind of food we had! It is amazing how different the terrain and views are going back! This is true whether biking, kayaking or taking road trips. That will give you a little scale.

Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Texas to Utah Trip October 29-31,2011. This is North Eastern New Mexico traveling west on Rt 84-60 toward Fort Sumner. We took a slight detour just before Fort Sumner off Rt84-60 and turned south on a county road to visit Billy The Kid's Grave. This is the museum, which was not open when we arrived. Tuesday, November 12, 2013. The last of Big Bend, November 8 and 10, 2012. It was unusual to see a tunnel here but this was one. This is me, way up on the rock over looking Ernest Tinaja. We walked over a mile to get here and it was in the upper 80's. Pretty hot for November 8th! This is a unique rock formation where it trapped water and made a pool. The side are very steep and animals have fallen in and been unable to get out. We traveled 10 miles one way on this dirt road to see Ernest Tinaja.
