Monday, February 15, 2010. We had our traditional Valentine's Day fondue yesterday. Unfortunately neither Rob nor I was feeling up to drinking the wine that we usually partake of with it, but we enjoyed the cheese and chocolate nonetheless. I've been battling a sinus infection (TWO weeks now! And Rob is likely becoming the recipient of it. Ahhh.the joys of family sharing! We had lots of strawberries, pound cake, bananas and cherries with that. YUM! It's been a 3 cup day! Wednesday, January 27, 2010.

Kate loves seeing pictures of herself as a baby so I thought in honor of her birthday, I'd put a picture of baby Kate. Hard to believe this beautiful baby is 4 today! She's so excited too and would excitedly blurt out "Mommy, I'm 4! During various parts of the day. She had a good day too, starting with a cupcake for breakfast. Saturday, January 02, 2010. Remember the big clunky black box and how you had to plug it in? Kate got a new flat-screen one for Christmas. The paper images are much smaller, but it's pretty nifty. She loves playing with it and it's charms are not lost on a certain 2 year old either. It doesn't hold up well to Dr. Destructo, but what does? Funny how toys just get recycled, huh? Friday, April 24, 2009. Loving these spring days! We had an awesome day yesterday, and despite having to work, we were able to take the kids outside for some play time. Rob got the kite out again and the interest in it lasted for about a minute. I guess it's hard to compete with the swings, huh? Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Sunday, June 28, 2009. Little Artist, Pt. 2. Wednesday, June 24, 2009. We had a great time in KC! Most of our time was spent at the Great Wolf Lodge, playing in the waterpark. The kids had a blast going down the waterslides and playing with all the water wheels and spouts. They're pretty fearless (We got Grandma to go down a few slides too! We also went to Worlds of Fun amusement parks, hit a few coasters and let the kids ride the kiddie rides! Kate had her first dance class tonight!
