Wednesday, October 31, 2007. My apologies for no post for yesterday. Yesterday was a pretty lazy day, we walked around the resort village. Since we had not seen it during the day and the sun was out. It was interesting talking to the shop workers about the differences between peak season and what is now off season. They have to make all their money for 1 year in 8 months. Monday, October 29, 2007. Out on the trails. Today we walked some of the trails around Whistler village. The one thing we were constantly saying is how the village is at the base of many mountains. A five minute walk from our lodge will bring you to a ski lift. Currently, it's off-season, so it's great that it's not crowded at all. Unfortunately, the lifts are closed. That's ok, we're still having a great time. And the water tasted real clean and crisp. Well, that's it for tonight. See you tomorrow!
