Thursday, July 26, 2012. Sacajawea in El Salvador. Sacajawea is back in my life, with U.S. dollars being the currency of El Salvador. It´s much more common for you to get dollar coins than dollar bills here (although those exist too). Why don´t we use dollar coins? They wear out way slower! We took a bus, to a taxi, stopped at El Durazno, taxi, and then had to walk up a crap load of steps to get to Cerro la Cruz. If you were in a wheelchair, you wouldn't be able to go to this school. Actually, technically you could because there was a ramp that I think was for carts but you would have to have some pretty bulky muscles to get up it yourself lol.
