When I first went to an information night about Habitat in 2007, and Natalie spoke about the $900 donation each Global Village volunteer is required to make, I felt paralysed with fear. You mean I need to ask my friends for money? Eek If I wanted to do that, I would have set up some kind of party plan consultancy. People seem to love to eat curry for a cause!
