The Ford Chronicles: June 2011
http://thefordchronicles.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 25, 2011. A poopie day . . . with a great ending! Today, the plan was for productivity, joy, excitement, unity, bonding . . . We had to run some errands and then we would get to meet a brand new human being who was born into this world just yesterday. Our really good friends just had their second child, a son. Well, it didn't turn out that way. . . totally. Woke up . . . late. Dishes still in the sink. Behind already. Get them done. This can't be that hard. We are going to Panera Bread!

Tuesday, June 5, 2012. C: Mommy, is war real? Me: What do you mean? C: I mean, is war really real? Do people really fight in wars? Me: Yes. Wars are real. C makes a terrified face and hugs the wall she was leaning against and says, "Oh, no. That makes me scared . . . ". Me: I know, Baby. But, don't worry, even if we were in a war, God would be with us and would protect us! C: I don't like war. I wish there wasn't war. It makes me scared. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sunday, September 2, 2012. First Week of School. What a doosy this week was! It started off great. We were excited. Monday went smoothly. School was fun and the kids did great. Then . . . I discovered lice in C's hair. This is the first time, and I was crushed. This was to be her first day at gymnastics. I sat for an hour combing through her hair taking out the lice, super braided her hair and we went anyway . . . I then discovered two or three lice nits in G's hair. Now, I am feeling it. Gorgeous “...

The Ford Chronicles: July 2011
http://thefordchronicles.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 29, 2011. Well, it's only 6PM and this is what my household looks like. Each of my precious children and my worn out, wonderful hubby are zonked out. Poor things. But, the Lord lifts my weary soul with the sound of rain outside our windows. How I love rain. And, if we have to be sick, it is so nice to have the sound of rain to listen to. Jesus, you are the lover of my soul! Jesus, I will never let you go. I love you. I need You. Though my world may fall, I'll never let You go. Buuuut, with a...

The Ford Chronicles: December 2011
http://thefordchronicles.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 19, 2011. I love change. I really do. I love moving to new places. I love new projects. I love new ventures. Well, there have been two new changes in our lives that have been quite the transition. 1: My sweet nephew, Anthony, has moved in with us. He had moved to Guam with his family, but got the opportunity to move back. He was going to move in with us, at the time, after a few weeks. It ended up being within a week! This has been a delightful transition. And, I'm cheap. She’s not...

The Ford Chronicles: September 2012
http://thefordchronicles.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 5, 2012. The last few days have been marked with fevers, four sets of antibiotics two times a day, ibuprofen, lice shampoo treatments, washing EVERYTHING non-stop with hot water and drying those said items on hot, vacuuming tons, spraying down the house, meals, comforting, bloody noses, school . . . what? Today, we got some schooling done and it was our first day doing Sonlight. It was great. So far, it seems like a great fit. We'll see how it goes. I love you, my little sweeties....
