С тех пор как человечество оказалось увязанным в более-менее единую общность, состояние дел в нём прошло несколько своего рода "погодных" стадий. Вот, например, две мировых войны, прошедших в прошлом веке, можно, пожалуй, сравнить с настоящими природными бедствиями и даже катастрофами. Пожарами, штормами, землетрясениями- тем более что последствия этих войн таковыми и бывали; вдобавок к неимоверным собственно человеческим жертвам.
