I was rescued by the APA from the puppy mill, BIG BIRD DOG KENNELS. I was raised in a small cage; having lots of puppies that were all taken away from me. The birds that soared above my cage were the only positive contacts I had with the outside world. These birds became my dear friends and my life savers. Click images to enlarge.

For my KC people, this was named after the street Warwick right near the KCAI and the Nelson Atkins Museum. Great times I had in that scary run down apartment. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sharon Spillar - Spillar Studios. Fine Art Contemporary Abstract Paintings. Wednesday, December 24, 2008. New work and one of the last of 2008. I thought it was fitting for me to have it a little "Off Kilter". I have found that I like my life so much better when it is not fitting into the gingerbread house with the perfect picket fence. Sharon Spillar - Spillar Studios. Fine Art Contemporary Abstract Paintings. Wednesday, April 01, 2009. Dallas. Here I come. When ever I think of Dallas, I think of Spring. Every year I travel to Dallas three times in less than eight weeks for art fairs. If I was single and childless, I think I would just hang out and paint at a friends house for those eight weeks. I love Dallas and I cannot wait to visit again. What shows are bringing you to Texas? April 4, 2009 at 7:16 AM. Sharon Spillar - Spillar Studios.

Sharon Spillar - Spillar Studios. Fine Art Contemporary Abstract Paintings. Sunday, April 19, 2009. The beginining of a Daily. Over time, I have had many ask me about the Daily's. I though I would post what the beginning of one of my Daily's looked like. For this one, the idea first came in the form of a post it note. I started scribbling ideas for color and shape. Then I took it to the vellum, sketched it out with colored pencil, and then began painting. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
