It's A Beautiful Day in the Bloggerhood. Monday, March 23, 2015. And when did it become a bragging right to be a "basic bitch"? When did that become something that any woman should be proud of or strive for? I don't understand. I would hope my daughter doesn't grow up and list her crowning achievement as being a "basic bitch". It's like listening to a whole morning show where a girl is playing dumb to get a boy's attention. Wednesday, January 26, 2011. But afterwards, I didn't really care if Pooh ever came back. Yesterday while Maya was at school I thought of Pooh and had a feeling. I just felt like he was going to be coming back to our house soon. And shock and surprise when I pick her up from school she has his rolling suitcase! So now we have a crabby toddler, a cranky mom and a 4 year old who just wants to go in the mall. We go inside taking Pooh with us. The mall visit was a success! The world crumbled around her!

Saturday, April 30, 2011. This will be the last time I post about one of my children being in the hospital. Nora is now better, but was VERY sick- needing a bunch of oxygen, antibiotics, lots of rest. The word "superinfection" was in her discharge summary, so yeah, pretty sick. Can we please be done with all of the pneumonia? I knew that Roman wanted to learn how to play guitar and even had a friend let us borrow one, but it somehow just never made it onto our agenda. Until today. He is so tickled with himself and I think he demonstrates an amazing amount of potential. For someone who has never had a lesson in his life, I think it sounds beautiful! But maybe that's just because of the way he smiles when he plays and all I hear is my own little love song.

Friday, September 10, 2010. Peanut's First Visit to the Dentist. That certainly wouldn't help her to not be afraid, would it? So I just went ahead and took her in blind. I did talk to her several times about what would happen and we read a book about it, but she was still nervous. When we got there she LOVED the play area.pediatric dentists have awesome waiting rooms! And even though the dentist referred to it as a princess chair and talked about her princess teeth, she was getting more and more nervous.

And then she tells me that the baby doesn't have a daddy. I said, "Oh really, why not? Her answer.he died a couple of weeks ago. He was shot.by the government.
