Thursday, June 25, 2009. When did summers stop being relaxing? I feel like I've been running straight for 3 weeks. Odessa girl got baptized on June 6th.yay! What a cutie, I am so proud of her. Then it was straight to Girls camp. It was exhausting, but incredible. I was feeling pretty happy because two different girls at camp asked me if Braunte'. Y sister, ha! Thursday, May 5, 2011. It was strange not to get together with the whole family this holiday. My parents were in the middle of moving and my brother didn't come down from Idaho so we skipped celebrating entirely on that side of the family. Sunday we had a nice dinner with John's family, with a great egg hunt, a couple from Texas, and lots of cousin time and grown-up conversation. Friday, October 29, 2010. Here's the latest story Braunte' wrote for the Reflections Contest. I wish she would have had more time.this is her first draft. She found out the night before it was due that there was a 2,000 word limit so the ending got cut short. All in all it's still a fun read. Lítla Dímun, by Braunté Anderson. The Sky the color of sickness, of mourning. Worms fill the street. The lives of many taken. My eyes fill with tears and rain as I look over the damage. Everyone is hiding, but not me.

Saturday, December 26, 2009. 25 RandomThings About Me. 1 I complain a lot about how busy I am, but I really like being busy. 2 I like to think I am handy with a power drill, but sometimes can't really finish a job without help. 3 I envy people who update their blogs regularly and edit photographs and wish I would take the time to record my family's memories better. 4 I LOVE it when John plays the guitar, except when he's playing when it's time to get kids in bed. 10 I wish I had a bigger kitchen every day.

Sunday, May 30, 2010. Wrote this in May 2010 and couldn't get the photos to download.where did this year go? I wonder who thought of the idea of a kindergarten graduation. Kind of cheesy, but those kids are so cute in their little hats. We feel really blessed this year that Tolkien has been able to attend kindergarten for part of this school year. He finally feels like belongs somewhere. He's officially enrolled in the first grade for next school year and he's pretty excited! Pirates of the Cyber Seas.
