Book on 01520 744407. Eating out on the Applecross peninsula is a great experience; we have the Applecross Inn, the Walled Garden restaurant and opening in 2016 a new Cafe on Shore Street. Fresh seafood straight from the creel is the local speciality; squat lobster, langoustine, crab and scallops can all be found in season.

It is situated in the township of Callakille down a track just off the spectacular coast road 8 miles from Applecross and 16 miles from Shieldaig. It has wonderful views to the Cullins of Skye to the South, the Islands of Raasay and Rona to the West and Harris and Lewis to the North. The sunsets in Summer are wonderful.

There is only one hotel in Applecross, the Applecross Inn at Shore Street. Local seafood is served in the bar, restaurant and sea front garden. The Inn has been awarded a number of accolades including the AA Best Seafood pub in Scotland. It also features in Scotland the Best, The Which Guide, Egon Ronay's Pubs and Inns Guide, and the Good Pub Guide. Colonsay Cottage in the village of Arinachrinach offers good Scottish hospitality and superb sea views from both guest rooms, dining room, sun room and deck.
