This is Carravagio’s depiction of St. Peter’s crucifixion. It struck a chord with me when I first saw it. St. Peter becomes a martyr in the foot steps of Jesus; therefore, becoming a heroic and holy saint. Doesn’t it look so real? Very sad and emotional. St. Peter is truly a great man…in my book.
