About the designer

From sheep to shawl. I was born in London in 1960 and have spent my life surrounded by creative and artistic influences. In 1967 my family moved to Norfolk, and I still live just a few miles from where I spent my childhood and adolescent years. I achieved a City and Guilds Diploma in creative textiles this year and intend to use the new techniques I have learned during the course of my studies to further develop my creative textile work. 2014 Anna Holzer-Mountifield Contact Me.

What we do

From sheep to shawl. Spinspired yarns are hand spun by me unless otherwise stated. I also hand dye commercial yarns. I use fleeces from local flocks whenever possible and am lucky enough to live in an area where various breeds are kept, including rare breeds and alpacas. Raw fleeces are carefully cleaned, washed and carded before being spun. This is Billie. She loves helping me sort fleece! 2014 Anna Holzer-Mountifield Contact Me.
