Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Designer Highlight: Ryan Pflasterer. The Anderson Design Group is comprised of seasoned illustrators, designers, and production experts who all have a passion for beautifully printed pieces of art/design. Ryan Pflasterer, the most recent addition to our design team, is particularly fascinated with archaic forms of printmaking. His work as a designer/printmaker, however, has been informed by his background as a mixed-media artist. The following images provide a glimpse at Ryan's p...

Friday, January 31, 2014. Last year we were approached by Ellusionist. A company that makes playing cards and instructional videos for magicians. Wanting to branch out with the look of their cards they looked to us to create a vintage deck of cards based in 60s advertising. They were inspired by the hit TV series Madmen and we wanted to give them something that felt at home in that era of design. With all the cards done we turned it back over to Ellusionist who made their own tweaks and finished out the ...

Thursday, November 6, 2014. Fat Bottom Brewing Co. Packaging and Posters. It's time for us to pin-up. Once all the pin up girls and flavor logos were updated, we began creating a branding scheme for a 5-color can and a 4-pack box. Once the aluminum can designs were finalized, we created a packaging concept that would allow each square box to be stacked or displayed in a number of ways so stores could create different scenes or even an entire wall of Fat Bottom Girls. With seven character designs finished...

Tuesday, April 15, 2014. It's been a good season. For packaging at ADG, pun intended. This particular project we cooked from the ground up starting with the logo. Designers Ligia Teodosiu adn Edward Patton came up will several good options. Ligia finished out the final logo design. The client ended up using two; one main logo that spelled out the full name, and an abbreviated button for use on the front of the packaging. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. That new logo is still in the works.) Below is the primary J.M Thomason logo along with an alternate logo seal that we used on the front of the packaging. Check out their awesome line of products.
