Heissatopia: What my mornings look...
http://www.heissatopia.com/2015/08/what-my-mornings-look.html
Wednesday, August 05, 2015. What my mornings look. The other day.or night.I tried to adjust my covers but couldn't. Four in the bed is a little bit crowded, but it's nice to be surrounded by so much love. Her face reads, "I'm not so sure about this. Save me! Why is he still here? While his says something more along the lines of, "I'm so funny. Actually, I'm hilarious! And I'm totally rocking this big brother thing.". They'll sort their relationship out eventually, I suppose. Is one of his favourite songs...

Heissatopia: March 2015
http://www.heissatopia.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 30, 2015. First day of spring break. This morning was drizzly and dreary. We played board games together (the Harry Potter LEGO game, Chutes and Ladders (*shudder*), and Headbandz) and everything was peachy keen until I suggested the girls clean their room before lunch. Then, oh, boy! Their room is mostly clean now. One of the swings at the park broke (a long. 160;time ago) so the girls figured out how to swing spider-style. 160;with Miriam for accidentally. Things I didn't say at church.

Heissatopia: January 2015
http://www.heissatopia.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 28, 2015. This word is driving me nuts. Benjamin has discovered it and has been using it to his advantage ever since. At lunch he had a big ol' peanut butter and jam sandwich sitting in front of him. Miriam and I both got ready to pray. Benjamin picked up his sandwich and opened his mouth wide. Benjamin," I said. "We need to pray first.". Mine sansh," he explained. "Me just.lick jam! These children have been at each other's throats all day (and that, too, is driving me nuts). The lesso...

Heissatopia: April 2015
http://www.heissatopia.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 30, 2015. Happy Birthday, Maren! Grandma flew out to visit us on Wednesday night; she wanted to see the grandkids and offered to give Andrew and me a night away. 160;from them, something weve never done. The kids didnt know she was coming so we were busy getting them into bed like usual when there was a knock at the door (Grandma rented a car). We asked Miriam to stop what she was doing and to answer the door and when she did Grandma said, Anybody need a Grandma? 160;he was so surprised.

Heissatopia: February 2015
http://www.heissatopia.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 27, 2015. Ive been doing quite a bit of crocheting lately, so much that Andrew remarked, Its like youre nesting.but without standing up. He might be onto something. Ive made multiple pairs of booties and I even broke out the blanket I started just before Benjamin was born (thinking I still had two months to complete it—ha! 160;finished (I will. I found a free pattern on this knitting/crocheting website. Its literally just a scan of an article from an Australian newspaper dated 1888.

Heissatopia: August 2015
http://www.heissatopia.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2015. The children's sacrament meeting presentation is coming up and Rachel was asked to write a talk about baptism. This evening she came up with a draft. We'll be bulking some parts up (it needs to be about twice as long) and softening some other parts (because sometimes you need to just leave it at the polite way of saying things):. Important I thought I should get baptized too. A scripture says "if. Want to go to heaven so I did. In the name.etc. He and Rachel made the dough togeth...

Heissatopia: Saturday at the museum
http://www.heissatopia.com/2015/08/saturday-at-museum.html
Sunday, August 02, 2015. Saturday at the museum. The tag says 0–3 months, but they're certainly a bigger 0–3 months than other things she used to wear but no longer fits! Anyway, after making them do chores all morning, I took the kids to the museum on Saturday afternoon so that Andrew could have some peace and quiet at home. He wanted to get some work done after having a somewhat stressful day on campus on Friday. We stayed until closing time. I was watching them all from the regular-sized chair. Th...

Heissatopia: Rachel’s first book report
http://www.heissatopia.com/2010/03/rachels-first-book-report.html
Monday, March 08, 2010. Rachel’s first book report. Rachel and I started doing a St. Patrick’s Day craft today and were talking about what St. Patrick’s Day is about. She’s pretty much convinced that it’s Uncle Patrick’s birthday and that I know nothing. Leprechauns, shamrocks, godhead, snakes, pot of gold? Clearly I’m crazy. So, happy birthday, Uncle Patrick. All of today’s art projects are dedicated to you. You know, since it’s your birthday and all…or not. Dolphin Adventure: A True Story. She drew ano...

Heissatopia: Just gimme that milk
http://www.heissatopia.com/2015/08/just-gimme-that-milk.html
Thursday, August 06, 2015. Just gimme that milk. I started pumping and storing extra milk mere days after Zoë was born. Unfortunately, being approved as a donor was a painfully long process this time around. My mom's freezer (the black and blue bag is full of the milk I had in my mother-in-law's freezer). Grumpy. I just cannot even.ugh. But my phlebotomist was nice, so there's that. Then we had to take my blood work and my milk upstairs to Baby Your Baby and leave it all in their big freezer so they can ...
