Monday, March 30, 2015. Pictured above and below is a silicone cupcake mold I bought a year ago. When I was doing my New Years decluttering, I had to decide if it was staying or going. Of course I picked stay, look how cute it is! I decided to use an inspiration photo and make some melt and pour soap. As close as I could to the colours in the Jewel Pops in the picture below. These are new colours that are part of the latest Kameleon Jewelry. I started by melting 1 pound of Honey melt and pour soap.

Friday, January 30, 2015. Bees, Honey and Crazy Hearts. Two more new to us molds this month are the Filagree Bee, 4 cavity and the Guest Bee, 5 Cavity. I haven't added these to the website yet because I only got a few of each and they probably won't last long in the store. I'll put them on next week if I still have any. The guest bee soaps weigh 1.5 ounces each. The Filagree Bee is 2.5 ounces. Links to this post. Labels: Honey soap base. Melt and Pour soap. Thursday, January 29, 2015. Links to this post.

Friday, July 31, 2015. This is a new to me mold that I received in June and just got around to trying. I was so excited to find a mold with dividers, there are two sets of dividers, one going the width of the mold as pictured here, and also a set going the length of the mold. And now look how my mold is only half full, that's why I'm calling these Little Lemongrass Bars, the mold was filled almost to the top with the dividers in it, not so much once the dividers were removed. Any ideas, let me know:).

Friday, November 21, 2014. Cotton Candy Cane Soap. Here's an easy melt and pour soap project using some Goat Milk soap base (for the white portion) and Clear Glycerin soap base that's been coloured with pink mica. The pink soap is fragranced with Cotton Candy fragrance oil and the white soap is fragranced with Peppermint Essential oil. Smells yummy. I've made them the same way I made the After Eight Joy soaps , the link is here. Links to this post. Melt and Pour soap. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Sunday, May 31, 2015. Loofa Soap from Steven and Chris. How cute are these loofa soaps that were featured in a DIY segment on an episode of Steven and Chris. They have a couple of other crafting ideas for loofa, you can see all of them including the soap here. They did a loofa soap years ago when they were the Designer Guys too. I used to love that show. Splash: Goat Milk & Coloured Glycerin Melt & Pour
http://splashcreations.blogspot.com/p/goat-milk-coloured-glycerin-melt-pour.html
Goat Milk and Coloured Glycerin Melt and Pour. Once both soaps are melted you can add fragrance, I usually add 2tsp of fragrance to the Goat Milk soap only. Now your mold is already in the cookie sheet, right? Here's a link to a soap where I added a bit of goat milk soap to the coloured glycerin soap. And here's one where I used two colours of glycerin soap. This one turned out really pretty! I like to use the Paisley Mold (used here) and the Op Art Mold (Below). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Saturday, February 28, 2015. I usually make soaps with the Milky Way Chicks mold. Sometime around Easter. In the picture above, you can see the colours I tend to use, pastel colours that I associate with Easter and Easter Eggs. I wanted to use some Chocolate Chip Cookie fragrance this year to I went for a chocolate coloured chic instead. I used Goat Milk soap base coloured with some cappuccino mica and I'm really happy with the way it looks and smells. Let's hope no one tries to take a bite! I'm going to...

Splash: A New Soap Mold
http://splashcreations.blogspot.com/2015/07/a-new-soap-mold.html
Thursday, July 2, 2015. A New Soap Mold. I received in June a new silicone soap mold with a beautiful rose design. This mold is about the same size as a 24 inch drawer organizer and holds just slightly less , so when I melted 2lbs of soap to make what's pictured here I had a little left over. This soap is fragranced with English Rose fragrance. I have another mold to try out that comes with dividers and is only suitable for cold process soap. I'll get on that soon I hope! Thursday, April 30, 2015. Star Anise and Green Tea Soap Fail. Overall I was really happy, the Green Tea fragrance did not accelerate trace and smelled really great with the Star Anise. I used chromium green oxide for the green, titanium dioxide with poppy seeds for the white and activated charcoal for the touch of black. Later that day. I realized I had left the olive oil out. Oh no! Links to this post. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Toilet Fresheners from Pinterest. From a blog called Maria's Self. And thes...
