I am part of the launch team for this book and what a blessing it has been! It comes out November 3, so mark your calendars! Of course you can pre-order here. Out Of Sorts Playlist. Monday, September 28, 2015. MPH and welcome Autumn. I ordered a few items earlier this month, haven't had a chance to show them here till now. Lavender hand soap and lavender hand lotion. These smell awesome,so luxurious and are a must have to have in the bathroom or kitchen! I also ordered another Sea Buck Thorn Balm. This little jar of balm is fabulous! I treated myself to Monica's Beachcomber bag. Which is Molly's pick for September. This is perfect for all of our travels. Enjoy your new goodies!

The Country Homemaker: 1000 Gifts Devotional
http://thecountryhomemaker.blogspot.com/2014/12/1000-gifts-devotional.html
Wednesday, December 3, 2014. I read Ann’s book, One Thousand Gifts. When it first came out and the main premise, being thankful for. I really do not care for Ann’s style of writing. I respect her gift of writing, and I am certain for every person like me, there are two or three who love her style. For this reason though I was hesitant to get this devotional when I already have the One Thousand Gifts book. But I am. Did you have a chance to read this post on her blog. God can do, but that He. Im 53 and ve...

The Country Homemaker: December 2012

Thursday, December 6, 2012. Gluten-Free Stuffing for Thanksgiving. When our family had to go gluten-free this year, there was a lot of sadness over the fact we would never eat this and that again. EVER. Like Pizza Hut pizza or Applebee's boneless chicken wings. And then other things begin to set in like realizing, wait, stuffing for Thanksgiving! Here it is before it was baked. Just a side note. I used Sweet White Rice flour. To thicken my turkey gravy and it was wonderful. Who needs real flour? And I ha...

The Country Homemaker: In Need of an Inspiring Adventure?
http://thecountryhomemaker.blogspot.com/2014/11/in-need-of-inspiring-adventure.html
Monday, November 3, 2014. In Need of an Inspiring Adventure? Close your eyes, Ela of Parne. Close your eyes and you will see. Ela Roeh of Parne doesn't understand why her beloved Creator, the Infinite, wants her to become His prophet. She's undignified, bad tempered, and only seventeen- not to mention that no prophet of Parne has ever been a girl. Worst of all, as the elders often warn, if she agrees to become the Infinite's prophet, Ela knows she will die young. Will you be my prophet? Me too, Melanie!

The Country Homemaker: February 2014

Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Have I Said I Wish Spring Would Come? It is so cold here today, barely above zero, and the wind is just nasty. I built a fire in the living room wood stove, stoked the fire in the basement until it was roaring, and baked bread just for good measure (and because we desperately needed bread) so hopefully it will warm up in here now that it is already midafternoon. About the series,. That will keep you up to date. Oh, what to have for supper tonight? One of the CUTEST things I ...

Thursday, July 31, 2014. So, the Brewers won yesterday, which was a happy thing for me. They have been in first place in the National League since the beginning of the season, except for a very brief time mid-season when they were tied for first. Or The game is almost on. Just everything. It truly is America’s game, our national pastime, and my love affair with it couldn’t have come at a better time. Thursday, July 24, 2014. It’s so much easier—for me—to blog when the thoughts are alrea...I know a lot of...
