I am so tired of stepping around, over and beside things that do not have a home or are simply out of their home. What is WITH my need to collect clutter and not want to give it away? GRRRRRRR And worse yet, I've got four other people who do and feel the same. I did not marry this house and this is "for worse" so I want out! That's to...

From The Front Porch Looking In: August 2010
http://canadianadamsfamily.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 6, 2010. Last night after work I wanted something sweet. It was either going to be brownies or chocolate chip cookies. Well, my middle girl had napped earlier in the day while reading her Bible. Tim understood what I meant when I mentioned it and he went to her room and told her I needed her in the kitchen. She and I baked cookies. She talked, I listened. This afternoon a friend is coming to help us get started sewing the girls Pioneer dresses! I just remembered that the Staples Teacher Ap...

Tuesday, November 23, 2010. MWA weekend and a Mini Vacation. There were several games of it this weekend and I happened to be the winner of one! That was tricky. Then our sweet Julia figured out that if she used RCI to book it she could book the week for the same! Now, what happens at MWA stays at MWA so I can't tell you more details. Although the chocolate cake recipe (wheatless! After Tim and the girls came we went to the pool. It is an indoor/outdoor pool with a swimout. They have a hot tub ou...Today...

Painting 4 HIM
http://painting4him.blogspot.com/2011/10/november-4th-is-surgery-day.html
Sunday, October 30, 2011. November 4th is surgery day. I ask for your prayers, for myself and family-yes.but more prudently I really have been impressed by the Lord to ask for prayers for His purposes. What I am meaning by that is- there is a plan in all of this.it isn't just about me and the cancer. If you wouldn't mind leaving a comment to let me know you are praying that would be wonderful. You are worthy of all the glory! Thank you so much friends for reading my lil blips. Vic, Praying for you today.

Painting 4 HIM: My soul glorifies the Lord!!
http://painting4him.blogspot.com/2011/11/my-soul-glorifies-lord.html
Tuesday, November 15, 2011. My soul glorifies the Lord! 8220;My soul glorifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name. Luke 1:46-49. I know this verse ultimately is Mary's Song and is speaking of her virgin pregnancy with Christ, but I have to just proclaim that this is also for us.in our day. View my complete profile.

A look at life through my viewfinder: August 2011
http://alookatlifethroughmyviewfinder.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Early in the morning I'd like to rise and spend a little time in quiet, creeping through the shutters falling on my wife, the sun is calling me to shine. Early in the morning, time still flies. Minutes, hours, lost as treasures. My tiny baby's breathing deeper every day, soon she'll leave her crib forever." (Early in the Morning by Andrew Osenga). Not am I night owl or morning dove. That is easy. I am completely 100% a night owl. What I mean is. In the song that I quoted. T...

A look at life through my viewfinder: God's Promises and Reminders!!! (Genesis 9)
http://alookatlifethroughmyviewfinder.blogspot.com/2012/06/gods-promises-and-reminders-genesis-9.html
Thursday, June 7, 2012. God's Promises and Reminders! My wife was tucking the girls in for bedtime. Naturally I ran into their room and told them to come downstairs and look at the promise of God. I took a few moments to remind that a rainbow is a promise from God. Then I was reading the portion of scripture that talks about rainbows. It is found in Genesis 9:8-17. Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him:. 8220;I now establish my covenant with you. And with your descendants after you. I have estab...

A look at life through my viewfinder: In a New York State of Mind
http://alookatlifethroughmyviewfinder.blogspot.com/2014/04/in-new-york-state-of-mind.html
Wednesday, April 30, 2014. In a New York State of Mind. The picture above I took while riding the Staten Island Ferry. This past Sunday I was able to take a spare of the moment trip to the city I love. New York! In my mind there isn't a better city. The real reason why I jumped at the chance to go to NYC is that my best friend (20 years) mentioned that he was going to be in the city for a business trip. After some thought I wanted to go hang out with my bro and check out the city that I love. God am I fo...

The Adventures of a Foot Washing Sheep Herder. Thursday, October 4, 2012. Pumpkin Hunt at White Fall Farm 2012 Weekend One. Leah had her own jug of apple juice that we had to keep putting away and retrieving for her. Levi was a big help unloading boxes and helping with Baby Jeremiah. Levi pushed that baby stroller all around the fields and castle. Fortunately the first weekend isn't the busiest time. While we had quite a bit of business, we had the chance to get our ducks in row and get a flow going.
