Crackberry dad didn't put down his cell phone for the entire 15 mins. it took all of my strength not to make a joke about how cell phones are not allowed in the junior high. Land bridge to Africa. Monday, September 28, 2009. Like mother, like son. We have conferences this Friday. They are student led meaning the student comes with his/her parents and lead each teacher through a conference handout that has been created by each teacher. Parents may opt to either have their conference at school with the teacher or at home. While my response to her was helpful, what I really wanted to say was "well now I know where he gets it.". Land bridge to Africa. Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Hope they have an awesome time.". Every Monday, we have a student lead prayer over the intercom. I am not sure whether they volunteer or are chosen but either way, they are always clearly nervous. While they typically all pray for the same thing (good grades, no injuries during sports, etc) today was the best/worst moment of intercom prayer yet. When praying for people suffering from the famine in the horn of Africa, an 8th grade boy said the following:.
