Saturday, September 11, 2010. Last Friday afternoon we received a phone call from school advising us that Courtney had fallen at school and hurt her ankle. After we picked her up from school we took to the Emergency Department at The Maitland Hospital for an x-ray. The x-ray revealed that Courtney had fractured her tibia and was put in a cast to heal. Sunday, August 29, 2010. HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY PHOEBE. I can't believe eight years have passed since my darling little girl was born! She has brought us so much joy over the years. We are so proud of the little girl she has become. She is smart, energetic, imaginative, friendly, compassionate, loving, and so sweet and innocent. She spends hours with her sister. She makes friends wherever she goes and is always willing to include others. She has beautiful long blonde hair. We love her. When Phoebe was 8.

Monday, August 30, 2010. On Friday, 27 August 2010, Allan ventured off to Maitland Private Hospital under Dr Bray for avulsion of his varicose vein as it was bulging and needed repair. He had to spend the night in hospital and was home the next day. He has been laid up on the recliner every since as he has to keep his elevated. Posted by The Buxton Family. Sunday, August 29, 2010. Friday, April 16, 2010. I found this story and it just so rings true and speaks to my heart. Sometimes we wonder, "why are things so difficult? Or "why/how long do I have to struggle with this particular trial? Here is a wonderful explanation. A daughter is telling her Mother how everything is going wrong. She feels inadequate as a mother to her young children and wife to her sweet husband; she can't seem to stretch their income; and she doesn't feel like she connects very well with her friends.
