I’ll be starting sometime in mid to late April from the house I grew up in and where my parents still live and plan to head south from there, mostly in search of warmer temperatures and drier weather. 5K Race and Family Fun Walk. We are on again for Thanksgiving! For several years now, I have waddled through Downtown Roanoke dressed as "Dash" the official "SpokesTurkey" for the Rescue Mission's Thanksgiving day fundraiser. I do not have my usual running clothes on. I am dressed as a turkey! I have a fantastic looking outfit, complete with a turkey tail made of donated neck ties. I did not run alone.
