Family friendly hikes (Utah). Saturday, October 5, 2013. We hiked Timpanooke Trail with the boys on July 24th since Adam had the day off. We didn't start until after lunch and it was a hot day- I think mid 90's! We were glad for the cloud cover at first, and cooling off at the falls later on. We only planned on making it to the first waterfall, about a mile in, since the boys are still young. Someday we'll take them all the way to the top of Timp! There were lots of butterflies on the trail that day.

Family friendly hikes (Utah). Friday, January 11, 2013. We have done this 5-10 minute hike in the summer to see Hidden Falls. See summer pics HERE. It was so fun to see in the winter too! We added it on to our hike across the street at Mill B South trailhead. Since the trails are so close to each other. We took our snowshoes off for this one. The trail is pretty narrow so it worked well with boots. It looked like only one group had gone before us since the trails were not packed down. Just 100 yards past...

Family friendly hikes (Utah). Tuesday, April 24, 2012. We took a little field trip to Aspen Lakes in Heber, Utah last weekend. We were scouting the place to see where we will put around. 300 people for a church youth camp this June. It was amazing and I couldn't help taking a few photos. Crossing our fingers that it won't be snowy by the time June rolls around,. But you never know in the Utah mountains. It snowed on us in June at girl's camp a few years ago- brrr! The leaders who are planning the camp.

Family friendly hikes (Utah). Friday, February 3, 2012. Bellagio gardens- las vegas. We love visiting the Bellagio gardens in Las Vegas. They are always changing with the seasons and since it was the Chinese New Year- it was all decked out in dragons and paper lanterns. The kids love it too! It must take a lot to maintain these gardens- I can't even imagine! And did you know just a few steps away from the garden is a chocolate fountain with three different types of chocolate flowing? Pretty cool to see.

I embroidered their names and the dates they were blessed on the slip. Their daughters names are above theirs. This is Amy's name above, with Kenzie's above hers. Scott, Christie, Grammy, Gabby, Grandpa and Megs. Elliott (R) and his best friend Ethan. A very tired little angel. Grammy and Grandpa Steve.

Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Our Second Grandchild this year! Last Wednesday, March 23, 2011, Amy and Cody had their 3rd baby! Will Marion Hughes made his appearance weighing in at 7lbs 6oz and 20" long. He is absolutely perfect! Amy had another c-section so this pic is her first with the baby. Kenzie gets her first look at Will's tiny fingers. She will be such a big helper. Collin is giving him a great big kiss! Cody showing him how to be gentle . he needs to be constantly reminded. he's 2.
