Monday, December 7, 2009. Reflections on Blogging…. As I mentioned in my first post, I have never kept a blog before. I have written in a journal with varying degrees of frequency throughout my whole life and I have benefited from having a place to record my thoughts and feelings. I thought that keeping a blog would be similar to this but it was quite different. Posted by Spontaneous Prose. Saturday, December 5, 2009. Posted by Spontaneous Prose. Sunday, November 29, 2009. Spontaneous Prose: The Power of Storytelliing

http://spontaneousproseblogger.blogspot.com/2009/11/power-of-storytelliing.html

Tuesday, November 17, 2009. The Power of Storytelliing. I have stayed away from including entries of a personal nature in my blog because I wasn’t sure if this was an appropriate forum, but I would really like to share this with you. What about the Holocaust? How do you explain evolution? 8221; and the list goes on and on. Although he lacks a formal education, my grandpa has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Spontaneous Prose: Community Service in the Classroom

http://spontaneousproseblogger.blogspot.com/2009/11/community-service-in-classroom.html

Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Community Service in the Classroom. Students can use their writing skills to get involved in community projects. For example, if students want to organize a food drive, they could draft a proposal for how they would execute their plan, write letters soliciting donations from local residents and community organizations, and then compose an article for the school or local paper about their community service experience. Spontaneous Prose: September 2009

http://spontaneousproseblogger.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, September 29, 2009. I guess Hebrew School wasn't useless after all. With the celebration of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, religion has pretty much taken over the past two weeks of my life. I’ll admit that during those long days in synagogue, my mind often wandered. I started to think about the subject of my next blog post, and I realized that my experiences with Jewish learning and knowledge are valuable to my studies of secular education. Has its root in the Hebrew word for friend. Also, if eac...

Spontaneous QU

We, some students of Quinnipiac, would like to share our insights, our feelings, our realizations, and in the end part of our life with the world at large. Follow, spread the word, comment, but most of all, enjoy! Thursday, September 15, 2011. Focus of the week: Cafe Q. The food distribution area is essentially a big zoo; just a large open space with no order. It's nice that we have eight different areas to get food from, but it's just one long counter with lines essentially wrapping around each other.

Spontaneous Ramblings

Definitely exciting entering a new phase in your life. But it’s incredibly saddening to end one. I suppose a lot of this is coming from grad. Day and seeing friends I hadn’t seen for a long time. It was so great talking to old friends and laughing about old memories. Just having everyone together in the same place was really awesome. And then it was over. Ah………I. Think I need to ugly cry. Confirmed by a myriad of multiple sources. I am an “amazing”, “incredible” kisser. To play devil’s advocate: sa...

Spontaneous Reading | Early literacy within reach

Early literacy within reach. Let’s begin…. Your child and reading. Posted by Patricia Nan Anderson in Uncategorized. We all want our kids to learn to read and reading instruction is the major focus of elementary school. But should reading be so difficult? Why isn’t learning to read as natural and automatic as learning to talk? I believe is should be and. For just about every child. Not only that, I believe that learning to read should happen …. Stress or anxiety; and. Dr Patricia Nan Anderson.
