Sunday, March 25, 2012. Frogging my way through life. It's true it seems that I make some progress.only to rip it back and have to start over. Not just with knitting but, with everything lately. Maybe it's this whole 5-0 thing. Weighing heavily on my mind. Aren't I supposed to be more accomplished and satisfied with my life at this point? I have been to a couple of concerts lately, I went to see "The Darkness". S year but on different days. Grrr. I have to confess that was the first time I'd seen the symp.

I finally published the drop stitch scarf/shawl pattern that I've been designing off and on for at least a couple of years. It turned out really well, even better than I had hoped, actually. It's fun to knit, it's not complicated, it can use just about any yarn or needle, it makes a nice scarf or a nice stole. It can be sophisticated or rustic, blocked or free-form. 65279;. It's a good summer project.

The yarn cost $21.00, which was a huge. The old bind off has been partially removed. I found some of the leftovers of the original yarn and rebound them. The hardest part was unraveling / unthatching / picking out the old bind off. It took almost an hour for both socks. Close Up of the New Bind-Off. 65279;. Ive done that :).

The former houseblog that has been taken over by my obsession with yarn and sticks. Friday, January 15, 2010. On the one hand, I'm feeling very happy. Mr Deplume and I are going away for the weekend with friends. It should be a lot of fun. We'll take pictures and shop and eat and have a great time. The kids will be having fun watching movies and eating out with Grandma and Grandpa. My brain is a difficult place to live sometimes. derr. Maybe the trip will clear my head. Let's hope.
