Friday, March 26, 2010. Olivia goes to a performing arts school so I guess I shouldn't be surprised when she comes home and says "Mommy, I'm going to be in a talent show tomorrow". Then again, she's 5, so yes, that should totally surprise me! I asked what she was singing and she said "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". A huge part of me sighed in relief that it was an easy song I had no doubt she knew backwards and forwards. Nothing worse than your child freezing up on stage I'm sure! Posted by Family Krout.

Friday, November 19, 2010. Luke had a birthday this week and is now officially 4! He waited until Wednesday to accept this age change. He was really content at 3. I think he's worried that 4 means he'll have to grow up a bit. He had a great day, started off with opening his present from Grandmom: Just Dance 2. He's gotten really good with his dance moves! Sunday, January 17, 2010. Not the crafting diva. I've been getting better lately, I've been sewing purses (don't look inside, threads everywhere) and I even make Olivia and I matching dresses for Christmas (washing them was really nervewracking.would they survive? But, most of the stuff I make is obviously home made! I strive to make something that doesn't look homemade. The Family Krout: Trunk or Treating

Friday, October 29, 2010. Yesterday was the MOMS Club's annual Trunk or Treating. We basically pull our trunks up together in a parking lot, decorate them and then set the kids off to trick or treat. It's great for them because they get to see all their friends in their costumes since we don't see them on Halloween day, and they don't all go to the same school. It's a lot of fun, and we lucked out with 75 degrees at the start of it! But, when the sun went down, it became pretty chilly! Visit from the West.

Sunday, February 28, 2010. Good bye old swingset. On a whim i put it up for $200. In a matter of an hour I had two replies back, and in a week it was sold! It just set off with a nice set of grandparents with four grandkids who I know will get good use out of it! It was a great first experience selling something like that.and we actually made some money back from it. One thing I didn't expect was the barage of tears from Luke when he saw it driving away.
