Sporadic Reviews: About
http://sporadicbookreviews.blogspot.com/p/welcome.html
The title pretty much explains it: reviews posted sporadically - probably in fits where I'll post several in a short time, and then none for quite a while. But I try to keep my "Currently Reading" up-to-date at GoodReads. I'll also post the occasional book meme and maybe reviews of non-booky things. If you are a publisher, author, or have a product you'd like me to review, see my Review Policy. My name is Kevin. I've been married to a wonderful woman. Thanks in advance, and thanks for visiting! Any donat...
Sporadic Reviews: The Awesomeness that is the March 2015 LootCrate!

Friday, March 20, 2015. The Awesomeness that is the March 2015 LootCrate! By Kevin Bayer on Google. My son helped me open up the latest LootCrate. To find the goodies within! I probably should have ordered two. I wonder how many people will have their Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. lanyard badge thingy on at Emerald City Comic-Con. Not a book review. Sporadic Reviews: Book Review: Leviathan
http://sporadicbookreviews.blogspot.com/2015/04/book-review-leviathan.html
Wednesday, April 8, 2015. By Kevin Bayer on Google. My rating: 4 of 5 stars. Wow What a ride. Black Jack Geary has certainly taken the First Fleet into battles where the odds seem insurmountable, but he's Black Jack and has always managed to scrape through. Now he's facing the dark ships, and their AIs are designed to act and react like he would! An emotional ending brings the book to a close, though the First Fleet sails on. Leviathan is great read! Sporadic Reviews: Book Review: Dark Disciple (Star Wars)
http://sporadicbookreviews.blogspot.com/2015/06/book-review-dark-disciple-star-wars.html
Monday, June 15, 2015. Book Review: Dark Disciple (Star Wars). By Kevin Bayer on Google. Dark Disciple: Star Wars. My rating: 5 of 5 stars. Dark Disciple is, I think, probably the best Star Wars novel I have read. It may also be worst Star Wars novel I have ever read, darn it. First, let's just get this out of the way: if Obi-Wan ever says he has an idea, or might know someone for a part in a plan, you say NO! And get away quickly. Kenobi's plans never end well. Sporadic Reviews: Gen Con 2010
http://sporadicbookreviews.blogspot.com/2010/08/gen-con-2010.html
Thursday, August 12, 2010. By Kevin Bayer on Google. I finally made it to my very first Gen Con. I only attended on Saturday, but I had a blast and hope to be able to attend more than one day in the future. Our first stop was to meet some of Rubi’s coworkers for breakfast away from the con – next time we go, we’re doing the Tracy Hickman Breakfast. I really enjoy seeing all the costumes at cons. As we were walking through the exhibition hall, Rubi found the line to see the cast of The Guild. In-person si...

The Hot Chick and Fat Guy Podcast: November 2009
http://hotchickandfatguy.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 26, 2009. Episode 1 - Wrong Coffee. The very late episode one of The Hot Chick and Fat Guy podcast finds Rubi gleeking out about Glee, Bones, and Castle on TV while Kev talks briefly about Stargate Universe and Star Wars The Clone Wars. Additionally, Rubi is upset that Donut Bank gave Kev a plain cup of coffee when she wanted a mocha. Kevin and Rubi ran out of time during recording and never got around to recording a closing. Star Wars The Clone Wars. And various other podcasts. From T...

The Hot Chick and Fat Guy Podcast: February 2010
http://hotchickandfatguy.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 15, 2010. We had planned on recording episode three today, but the kids were out of school for a snow day (when will winter end? And then I slipped on the ice outside of our secret headquarters and broke my freakin' ankle! Fat Guy's weakness is apparently clumsiness! Hoping to record episode three soonish! Maybe Wednesday after surgery on my ankle! Then again, maybe not). Posted by Kevin Bayer. Monday, February 15, 2010. Labels: not an episode. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Thursday, August 12, 2010. Well now school has started back up, and the house is nice and quiet and sans children from morning until afternoon. Perhaps the Hot Chick. Many of the sea ducks are in eclipse plumage now, in a constant state of shedding feathers and growing new ones.
