Man, do I love a good montage. Links to this post. Thursday, May 28, 2009. The best part about the Wings winning last night is that we don't have to wait 4 months for the Stanley Cup Final to start. Game 1 is Saturday night. Game 2 is Sunday night. God help us all. I have a lot of good friends who root for Detroit. I wi...

Wednesday, September 30, 2009. NHL Season Preview - Eastern Conference. Was it just me or was that a quick summer? It seems like two weeks ago that the Penguins were skating off the ice at Joe Louis Arena with their third Stanley Cup in tow, while Kris Draper had a hissy-fit in the Detroit dressing room ("and you can print that, tell him I said it! There is no doubt that it could be their biggest downfall heading into 2010. On the other hand, they have Malkin and Crosby. Crosby is coming off a "bad" ...

Thursday, February 26, 2009. DEALS, DEALS, DEALS! So much talk lately surrounding the NHL has been the economic viability of some "Non-Traditional" markets throughout the US, most notable has been in Glendale, AZ. Sunday, August 23, 2009. The Mets are 09's biggest disappointment. To a lesser extent, the New York Mets are ALMOST supposed to be mentioned in the same breath as the New York Yankees or Boston Red Sox, by that they are a team one expects to contend year in and year out. And by "contend", I mean "have a solid season until September, and then choke.". Well this season, the Mets got the sucking out of the way early. So what went wrong? Where has David Wright been in all this? Well, he's had a decent enough...

Speaking of which, the Hockey Fights Cancer neck tie this year is very nice. It is 100% silk, and the lavender colour is very sharp (if you ask me). For the ladies, they also make a HFC Scarf. Silk as well and very nice. Again, a portion of the proceeds go. To the charity. NHL Center Ice Package. Links to this post.

Monday, June 1, 2009. Weekend/Monday Stuff: Stanley Cup Finals, Lebron's disappearing act, Habs new coach, and more. Monday, June 1, 2009. History repeats itself, Wings up 2-0. Because of the short lay off and back to back games to open the Stanley Cup Finals, the Detroit Red Wings were supposed to be at a terrible disadvantage. Flash forward 48 hours, and they have a stranglehold on the series, going back to Pittsburgh. Stay the course, Pens. Series is a long way from over. Is this really a good hire?
