He has a 4.50 ERA through four starts and has yet to win a game. Looking deeper there are some hidden gems in his stats. He's missing bats at a huge rate and not giving up the long ball. Following the Cardinals, 24/7. Friday, April 23, 2010. Garcia vs. Lincecum. Jaime has his work cut out for him tonight as he faces perhaps the best pitcher in baseball, Tim Lincecum. Lincecum is of course the back-to-back Cy Young award winner that looks as good as ever through three starts this season. He has started using his changeup at a higher rate and has an ERA under 1 to show for it. In fact, he has driven in more runs than he has allowed. Should be a good one. I'll be tweeting during the game.

Well boys and girls, the new fence is finally up at the Ogg house, which means I get to lay on the couch and watch the game today because I'm too sore to move. Some of that may be the elbow still needing to get stronger from his surgery last year, but I think we're seeing the side effects of that 2004-2008 stretch where he pitcher over 1100 innings.
