Spot On, Stella! A journal of someone else's mid life catharsis. Lonely as a northern wind twisting through the grass. Or a mare’s tail stringing cross the sky as clouds go racing past. As a lake bed withers ‘neath the sun, the soil too dry to last. God I’m not strong when I’m this lonely. And I’m lonely like that. It’s the sound of empty canyons when a strong nor’easter blows. Empty arms around a lover when there’s no one there to hold. Hungry aching waves that break inside a heart too weak to last.
