How do you explain how you feel – Chronic Fatigue Syndrome | spotsandstripes
https://spotsandstripes.wordpress.com/2010/03/28/chronic-fatigue-syndrome
How do you explain how you feel – Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. How do you explain how you feel – Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. March 28, 2010. You might also be mistaken to believe that it’s just about feeling tired. Whilst that is partially true, it is so much more than that. This is very different. The most difficult thing is to help people to understand what this feels like. It’s not just feeling tired after a busy day. It does not mean I just need to sleep. I forget words. I struggle to put them togethe...

I didn’t start this blog to talk about CFS. April 27, 2010. I really didn’t. However it is a huge part of my life at the moment so not easily ignored. So it seems that I keep gravitating back to CFS all the time. Talking about it, thinking about it, living it, dreaming it. It is always there. Whilst I hate it, I also have a respect for it that I would never have thought possible 4 or 5 months ago. It has taught me some very valuable lessons;. I’m not great at updating this regularly. I’m not great at updating this regularly. I’m not great at updating this regularly. April 26, 2010. Please see the title. I am truly rubbish at sticking to things. More so now than I ever used to. It’s not that I cannot be bothered, it’s more that I just forget. Plain and simple. Another symptom of CFS which is both frustrating and scary in equal measures. How can I qualify that sentence? I have no idea. Things do seem a little easier to deal with at the moment, even though I am still struggling to break...

Random Musings of a Rambling Mind. What’s going on here then? Just another WordPress.com weblog. Archive for August, 2013. Apologies for rubbishy phone pic but here they are; (L-R) Betsy, Henrietta, Camilla and (front) Winny. They were rescued from a caged farm in Preston this morning, and have travelled down to Allesley near Coventry for rehoming. Bit of a mare of a day for them but a million trillion times better than the slaughter wagon! On August 25, 2013. A short post about foxes and chickens. Join ...

Random Musings of a Rambling Mind. What’s going on here then? Just another WordPress.com weblog. Archive for October, 2010. 8220;A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked.” — Bernard Meltzer. I have been a bad blogger. Two months of silence! I can only blame work, chickens, work, dog, work, cat, work, diet, work etc etc and aim to get back on the blog wagon asap. In the meantime…. Look, it’s Autumn! A short post about foxes and chickens.

Random Musings of a Rambling Mind. What’s going on here then? Just another WordPress.com weblog. This is a happy update on my last post. After the fox visited we set about reinforcing the chicken run. We could have given up, but we’ve come a long way down the chicken keeping road and the garden seemed terribly quiet without them. So, the run is now the poultry equivalent of Fort Knox and today we’ve picked up four hens, courtesy of the British Hen Welfare trust. On August 25, 2013. Enter your comment here.

July | 2010 | Random Musings of a Rambling Mind

Random Musings of a Rambling Mind. What’s going on here then? Just another WordPress.com weblog. Archive for July, 2010. A Tale of Two Charlottes. I asked a few questions of my chicken-mad friend. And soon decided that an Eglu wasn’t the way forward: I’d get more for my money looking for a wooden coop and buying the hens locally. So, the search for a coop began (cue hours of ebay-ing) and we purchased a cute little house for three girlies. My chicken mad friend. What we’re hoping for now is continu...

Random Musings of a Rambling Mind. What’s going on here then? Just another WordPress.com weblog. Archive for April, 2011. The Garden That Is Finished Is Dead. We’ve lived in our house for nearly a decade. It has been almost ten years since we looked round the house, noticed that the garden was huge, had a holly tree and a rhododendron bush and thought it might just be the place for us. Ready; I’ve blogged before about how I have not enjoyed the physical work of gardening. Ready for that greenhouse now.

Random Musings of a Rambling Mind. What’s going on here then? Just another WordPress.com weblog. April 3, 2011. A mother, I felt a bit…well, out of the loop. April 3, 2011 at 8:04 pm. It’s a bitter sweet day for me, as much as I love being a mother and adore my two, as much as I love being force-fed fudge and having handmade cards I can’t help but think how much nicer these things would be if I could share them with my own mum. Random Musings of a Rambling Mind. What’s going on here then? Just another WordPress.com weblog. Just poppy-ed in…. About time I got the blog off the ground again, I thought. I was shocked to find it had been over two years since the last post though! To kick-start myself I’ve had a little re-vamp and allowed myself the freedom of some random musings. Here are my ten for today:. How do bumble bees get their butts off the ground? When my cat plays with an elastic band, what does he think it is? You are co...

Spots and Stripes
Tuesday, 4 November 2014. Flopsy Bunny and I watched the Children in Need Sewing Bee program together on Iplayer the other day. Afterwards Flopsy Bunny announced that she wanted to make a skirt - I love that about her, always very confident in her abilities. We had a rummage through my material and came across some pink and white tulle which I had bought to make her a tulle tutu. We've started on some patchwork which I'm hoping will be a good way of starting out on the sewing route. The Grand Tour: Part 1.
