Blah, Blah, Blog. Wednesday, March 4, 2009. The Pirates from Grammar Island. Kacee's 3rd grade class put on a musical, 'Pirates from Grammar Island'. They did such a great job. Kacee was the Adjective Librarian and even had a solo. It was fun to watch her having a good time and mouthing the words to everyone's part! Sunday, November 30, 2008. Sucks to be SICK! We made it 20 months without any real problems with Cali's health. But low and behold it hit and it hit hard. Our poor lil baby was running a fever of almost 105. She was miserable and everyone else enjoyed her cuddliness. She has never had any kind of meds so when I tried to give her Motrin. she wasn't havin it AT ALL! Saturday, November 29, 2008. This one is for Kathryn. Circuit City stores. Most recent (? Ann Taylor- 117 stores nationwide are to be shuttered.

Tuesday, June 16, 2009. I took Tom on a surprise trip to Phoenix for his birthday. We stayed in an incredibly beautiful resort with a gigantic pool. It was beautiful and sunny, unlike Utah where it's cold and rainy. During the trip, we met up with Tom's kids; Chalese, Jeff and David, and his new grandson Byron. It was Byron's first major league ballgame and luckily the D-Backs won in extra innings. Tons of fun! Kelsee graduated from Kearns High on June 5! Happy, happy, joy, joy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Monday, September 14, 2009. Unlike Jason's trip to far-off places, my last trip took me to the upper peninsula of Michigan to the little college town of Marquette. I did not have to eat shrimp heads or eel soup but they do have a speciality called a pasty that looked particularly nasty. You can have it with rutabaga or carrots. I opted for neither.
