Our journey to adopt from Lesotho, Africa and China. Thursday, February 6, 2014. There isn't a whole lot to update on but progress was made. We heard from immigration on our application (I800a). They were not satisfied with a couple of things, boooo! So, we had to revise a letter by adding ONE SENTENCE! The dossier looked good to Small World. They only needed one thing from us, our police clearances, and that was it! So glad Noah is getting to know so many new kids. They are all from a different scho...

Lullaby and Goodnight: Indoor Shoes
http://littlebabylulu.blogspot.com/2015/01/indoor-shoes.html
Monday, January 19, 2015. I pulled Tillie out of bed tonight because I found a sweet deal on shoes that would work great for indoor school shoes next year. There were three pairs available in her size and I wanted to know which ones she liked best. Well, I like two of them, the blue and the pink. But, I want the blue ones because I don't want a shoe in my favorite color for 1st grade. My favorite colors are red, pink and yellow.". Oh, you think your favorite color might change? Apple pie, anyone?

Born in asia, raised in america, blessed with an interesting middle name. Oh what a weekend. It was Sara and Andrew's wedding weekend and with it blew in many people from across the Atlantic. Sara looked AMAZING, as did Andrew, and it was just a beautiful celebration:. This was not a great picture, but one of the only ones I have showing both of their faces. It turned out that almost everyone knew about it and I had absolutely no idea. Having him around for the weekend made the event that much better...

Hopefully the updates will be a little more frequent and possibly in the form of a photo here or there. I'm thinking of segueing this whole blog thing into a photography thing instead and am choosing to leave you with these two snaps&#...

Born in asia, raised in america, blessed with an interesting middle name. A trip to the past. Who didn't have one of these. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Asian American Joo was coined as a joke but is actually quite descriptive of who I am. As a Korean adoptee, I grew up in America and 'Joo' is the only part of my birthname that remains. This blog was started to record the little events in my life and thoughts in my head since it seems my paper journals never survive. View my complete profile. April 8, 2011.
