The Maple Tree: Jesse's Sunday adventure
http://weareinthemapletree.blogspot.com/2011/02/jesses-sunday-adventure.html
Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Sunday morning, Jesse was joining me on the stand just as church was about to start when he slipped and fell, hitting his head on the metal leg of one of the choir seats. These pictures were taken on Monday when I removed the bandage for the first time. He wasn't giggling as I took the bandage off, but was very happy it was finally gone! This is a good shot of the results. Five stitches and a little more than an hour, we were back at church answering quite a few questions.

Sunday, October 24, 2010. Backtracking, just a little. This one was just too cute to pass up. It was taken a few weeks ago. As was this one. This is what happens on Conference weekend when the kids are bored and Mom just wants a little rest. They did have a simply fabulous time drawing on me and then laughing at how I looked! Thankfully, it washed off without too much trouble. The kids entered gourds they had grown in the County Fair. They all won ribbons. Chad and the huge. Elias' volcano birthday cake.

Wednesday, September 1, 2010. I called around and found someone who could pick the kids up and bring them to the top of our road. I planned to walk the mile up and back to get them home safely, but Chad was available to get them from the top down. So, when they got home, they went looking for their cats, as they usually do. Thank goodness! Jesse found Gracie. She had been hiding under the porch. It could have been so much worse. Too bad it took a few accidents for them to learn. So, it was another day wi...

He is healing relatively well for a child his age. But is nice to work with him throughout the day. The kids are all doing well in school and we are happy. Month of August 2009. He had fractured his right clavical. He was put in an immobilizer and sent home. He sure look pathetic here! First day of school. Month of July 2009. So, our kids get ...

Friday, April 23, 2010. It's been a while. I figured I would jot a little something down while I'm sitting here doing nothing.okay, I'm making myself do this. You see, writing just isn't my thing. It seems that my life is just so uninteresting that it isn't worth writing about, so I don't do it. It's weird, others lives are very similar to mine and I thoroughly enjoy reading about what they are doing.so I will write about what I and my family are up to now. The kids are all growing fast. They spend a...

The Maple Tree: Elias has graduated from 6th Grade!
http://weareinthemapletree.blogspot.com/2011/06/elias-has-graduated-from-6th-grade.html
Thursday, June 2, 2011. Elias has graduated from 6th Grade! On 1 June, Elias graduated from 6th grade. He is Valedictorian and we are very proud of him. He did a great job on his speech, receiving only a small amount of help and guidance in writing it. Here is a viewing of both his and his buddy's speech. If Chad's copy of the speech is better than what I got, I will post that one as well! More pictures to follow of Jesse's Kindergarten graduation, which took place the day before. Well done, Elias!
