Hopenhagen / a rally. There is at least one rally in copenhagen each day during the climate summit but on the 12th of december there was a massive one, counting somewhere between 60 and 100.000 heads. people gathered from all over the world. I must have seen a thousand signs, and yet i think that snow man was my favorit. i miss the snow. Swedish ice / halfway there. It aint over yet. at least not in this swedish forest. still ice around - on the following two pics i think it looks as if the ice is growing out of the ground along with the mushy roots - click it to enlarge and see what i mean? It aint over yet but it will be soon. even though it was minus 9, the sun was incredibly powerful and i heard the cracking, saw the melting, felt the growing under my feet. The lake - also halfway there. More light, please. More colours, please.

It's been the most delicious summer. almost overwhelmed, i sat down yesterday to sort through all the photographs, to try and swallow it all. When i look at the time since i was last here, it looks like one long celebration. My father turned 70. Two trips to Sweden. Two visits from my sister. A journey through England to Scotland.
