As human beings, our greatness lies. Not so much in being able to remake. The world - that is the myth of the atomic. Age - as in being able to remake ourselves. A teacher who used to love being a teacher, but now doesn’t. Part of it is the world today: under-prepared kids, adversarial parents, unhappy colleagues, etc. Some of it is her reaction to all of that plus her own disappointment in students and staff, and - most importantly the way she’s handling herself.
