She's been having pain in her abdomen, and was experiencing other symptoms that are warning signs of potential problems during a pregnancy (I'm being vague for her privacy, and to spare everyone the details.). Well, due to a scheduling SNAFU, Monica ended up being able to keep her first doctor's appointment today. The doctor said that she thinks Monica is about 10 - 11 weeks pregnant, which would make her due date somewhere around the winter solstice (December 21st), 3 days after my birthday.
