Monday, March 8, 2010. Read Across America Week. This week was filled with fun reading activities celebrating Dr. Seuss. On Monday many teachrs, doctors and sports players were found. Everyone dressed as what they wanted to be when they grow up! We read the book Oh the Places You'll Go! We decorated our door with The Cat in the Hat. On Tuesday we celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday. Everyone wore red and white. We enjoyed cupcakes and hearing the book Happy Birthday to You. Mrs Dykhouse's 2nd Grade Class.
