Born and raised in TO, Carol Karastamatis attended George Brown College as well as the Jeweller’s Training Center, where she trained as a silversmith. It was not until she attended a course in New York City, where her love for glass and the vibrant colours that come with them became apparent. Carol’s work can now be viewed at The Conservatory in Elmvale as well as some of the festivals that occur in Simcoe County.

Operating as "Arian Design", Faramarz offers a diverse and large selection of glass products including stemware, decanters and a wide range of other home decor pieces including windows and mirrors. His work can be seen and purchased at his store in Elmvale and many other stores across Ontario.
