Forget-Me-Not-8: January 2010
http://forgetmenot8.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 14, 2010. Recently we had "freeze" and a bunch of homeschoolers gathered at Frog Pond for some ice skating! A friendly game of hockey. Here's Paul, going after the puck! It was a bit snowy (as you can see by the trees in this picture) so we shoveled off the ice before we skated. It's warmed up now, and has been raining these past couple of days, :( but there is still a lot of winter left and we're hoping to get some more ice skating in. And I even got the solo part I had tried out for.

Forget-Me-Not-8: May 2010
http://forgetmenot8.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 29, 2010. This past week has been. Hanging out at Settler's Cove beach. No, we're not fooled. the water is. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Some of you will remember the small house/shed on the side of our property. It was very old, full of junk, and starting to come apart, so we decided to tear it down and rebuild it into a more usable space. Tearing it down. (definitely the best part). A little help from Uncle Paul. Getting ready to lift wall #3. Tuesday, May 11, 2010. All 16 of us. We found a ton...

Willow Arbour: January 2006
http://willowarbour.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 30, 2006. I spent a great deal of time this weekend marking exams and assignments. Although it is tedious work, there are always moments of humour. One of my boys wrote about his aspirations for the future. Being only 13 years old, these are many and varied. The list included things like fireman, engineer, millionaire, and so on. However, in spite of a definite yearning for great wealth, he generously stated, "I want to help pool people.". He meant, of course, "poor people.". The Canadian...

Forget-Me-Not-8: July 2010
http://forgetmenot8.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 27, 2010. A very close friend of ours died in a plane crash a few days ago. Please pray for his family; his wife and four kids, who just lost their husband and dad. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Her appendix had ruptured. The doctors went right into surge...

Willow Arbour: Moonlight Paddle
http://willowarbour.blogspot.com/2007/11/moonlight-paddle.html
Friday, November 23, 2007. I have to write this while it is fresh in my mind. Earlier today I discovered that a group from the canoe club were going for a moonlight paddle in a voyageur canoe this evening. So, I decided to join them. We paddled upstream into the moon, which was surrounded by an enormous ring. It was almost as though we were paddling right into the moon. We continued up to West Creek, just east of Fort Langley, then went up the creek -. Keep up the good work. View my complete profile.

Willow Arbour: July 2007
http://willowarbour.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 15, 2007. We finally hosed down the garden furniture, and spent a lot of time in the shade trying to stay cool. Thankfully, the temperature had moderated from the high 30's celcius to the high 20's by dragon boat practice on Thursday evening! I really hate the yucca plants at the front of our house. I have to wear body armer to prune them back, as the leaf edges are like knife blades. However, right now they are in bloom, and the flower stalks really are showy. I'd like to see mo...On Wednes...

Willow Arbour: December 2005
http://willowarbour.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 30, 2005. Almost a New Year. Since this seems to be a good way to keep our friends and family up to date on our lives, we decided to set up this blog site. Thank you to Patricia and Chris for introducing us to blogging. Although two weeks of Christmas holidays seems very short to me (Andrea), it is truly a blessing and joy to be teaching at Pacific Academy. I value the quirks and quarks of each student, and am collecting mispronunciations along the way. People to their weddings.".

Forget-Me-Not-8: June 2011
http://forgetmenot8.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 18, 2011. Our sunsets have come back, finally, after a long winter and spring of ice blue skies. Our skiff rides made their way back as well. During a spell of amazing weather we decided to boat out across the channel and just spend the day having fun on the beach and the water. Blue, blue, blue. We pulled up onto the shore of long rocky beach, and proceeded to unpack the skiff. Somebody isn't too fond of his life-jacket. The Harder (but much more fun) Part. You're amazing Emma. :). Oh how...
